Product Description

The EMC1 modular contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is primarily applicable to circuits with an alternating current (AC) frequency of 50Hz (or 60Hz), a rated working voltage of up to 400V, and a rated current of up to 125A. It is capable of controlling low - inductance loads in household appliances and for similar applications. Additionally, it can be employed to control the load of household motors, though the power should be appropriately reduced in such cases.
 

Conforming to the standards of IEC/EN61095 and IEC60947 - 4 - 1, the EMC1 contactors are mainly utilized in buildings for the switching and control of lighting, heating, ventilation systems, and pumps. As an integral part of the comprehensive range of Din rail products, they can be seamlessly integrated into dedicated panels.
 

Modular contactors are used in a wide variety of applications. They are primarily found in different building facilities, including lighting systems, heat pumps, air-conditioning or ventilation systems. Their various features make them an ideal solution for commercial and industrial environments.

A modular contactor can be used in large building installations to provide central control. Here,  the contactor typically contains two operating coils. The first contactor closes the power circuit contacts when it is energized. The second one opens the contacts when necessary.
