Functions of AC Fuse

Overload Protection

AC fuses are electrical fuses that work with alternating current circuits. They don't need to be made larger thanks to the alternating frequency of the current supply.
Alternating current is supplied at a voltage that goes from a maximum level to a minimum (0V) level usually 50 to 60 times in a minute. This means that when the strip melts, the arc is easily extinguished when this voltage drops to zero.
The electrical fuse isn't needed to be larger, as the alternating current stops supplying itself.
Low-voltage electrical fuse works in a circuit with a voltage rating that is lower than or equal to 1,500V. These electrical fuses are commonly used in low-voltage electrical circuits and come in different shapes, constructs, and sizes.
They are also cheaper than their high-voltage counterparts and easily replaceable.
